About the Event
Foraging as a fundraiser. Join us as we get outside to enjoy a morning of foraging with Ashley Rodriguez (Not Without Salt & Kitchen Unnecessary). We're seeking out Spring's first round of nettles. Meet up at local park, Carkeek Park, and learn some essential tips to forage on your own. Ashley will go over such things as what to look for, how to find, pick, and prepare them. Walk the trails with a teacher who can provide you the hands on info you need to start your own foraging trips. One hour of walking/hand-on instruction and guidance, then off you go to explore and forage on your own!
$30 suggested Donation. Proceeds go to Ukraine relief efforts.
