WHAT & WHY

Catered to the beginner embroidery artist learning how to create something beautiful for display in their home.

Lauren Holton, from Lark Rising,  shows easy tutorial, stitch technique, & ideas for designing an embroidered art wall hanging. Guests walk through the basics of embroidery design - how to thread, how to approach different basic stitches-satin stitch, leaf stitch, and back stitch, and how to fill and finish off. Once the essentials are learned, she shows how to customize and create intricacy in any design piece.  Guests can expect to leave with take home work.

Check in, mingle with small bites, sweets and beverages.    Class is a 1.25 hour session of teaching and hands-on designing, followed by additional 30 minutes of design play time, finishing touches and photography.

In order to maximize individual learning time, we are keeping workshop to boutique size.
